Julia Sturgill to Attend Ohio Wesleyan University

Julia Sturgill of Portsmouth will attend Ohio Wesleyan University this fall, where she will pursue her bachelor's degree .

Sturgill is a graduate of Portsmouth High School. There, she was a member of Key Club, cross country, basketball and the track team for four years. She was a member of the National Honor Society and in the top 10 percent of her class. She is the daughter of Michael and Virginia Sturgill.

Ohio Wesleyan President Rock Jones, Ph.D., said the university is excited to welcome its Class of 2017 and to help prepare these students for life in a rapidly changing, interconnected world.
